Registered Massage Therapy
Massage therapy is a practice that involves evaluating and treating the soft tissues and joints of the body to prevent and address dysfunction, pain, injury, and physical disorders. Manual and physical techniques are used by massage therapists to improve physical function, reduce pain, and promote health throughout the musculoskeletal and nervous systems. Registered massage therapy is effective for managing acute and chronic pain, rehabilitating injuries, managing stress and mental health, providing pre- and post-natal care, and maintaining musculoskeletal health.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture uses safe and effective traditional Chinese medicine techniques, including Acupuncture, Gua Sha, Cupping, and Electro-Acupuncture, to restore balance and promote healing. Ideal for those managing chronic pain, recovering from injuries, or seeking natural support for stress, anxiety, and overall well-being.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage- Covered by Insurance
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle, non-invasive massage technique designed to stimulate the lymphatic system and enhance the body's natural ability to remove toxins and waste. By using light, rhythmic strokes, MLD helps to reduce swelling, improve circulation, and support overall immune function. Ideal for those seeking a relaxing treatment to promote wellness and detoxification.
Please note we're currently not taking any patients with Lymphedema*
ICBC Registered Massage Therapy
Registered Massage therapy under ICBC is available for patients with an active claim. We can direct bill ICBC for a portion of the treatment cost if the session has been pre-approved. It is the client's responsibility to confirm their approval status before booking. Treatments that are not pre-approved will not be covered by ICBC, and clients will be responsible for the full cost of those sessions. Please note that a user fee may apply to some services.
Hot Stone Massage (RMT) - Covered by Insurance
Hot stone therapy is a unique massage technique that uses the soothing warmth of smooth, heated stones to elevate the overall treatment. The heat helps muscles relax and soften, allowing the therapist to work more deeply and effectively where needed. This approach is especially helpful for those dealing with chronic muscle tightness. It's also commonly used to ease discomfort from conditions like arthritis and fibromyalgia, as the heat can help reduce inflammation and relieve pain. In addition to its physical effects, the calming warmth of hot stone therapy can promote deep relaxation, easing stress and anxiety while enhancing overall well-being.
Non-Registered Massage and IN-HOME Massage
Our non-registered massage therapists offers an affordable alternative for those without extended health coverage or for individuals who have exhausted their annual benefits. Please note that these sessions are not covered by extended health plans. Our practitioners are currently students or in the process of completing their registration exams to become a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT).
